About LITHIUM
Residing in Detroit, Micigan, the band first met in March 2005. By the time April 16 came around they were playing there first show at the Roseville Theatre (MI). Now to date, they've played over 81 shows and had a lot of success on their 2006 "Overdose Tour". They have already opened up for national acts like Kittie, Dope, 1000 Foot Crutch, George Lynch, The Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid, Crud, The Two Live Crew, Drowning Pool, Digital Underground, Skywynd, Mantis, Suicide City, Too Short, Tech 9, and Loudness. The band has moved crowds in some of Michigans biggest venues, including The Emerald Theatre, The Masonic Temple, St. Andrew's Hall/The Shelter, The Machine Shop, The Ritz, Harpos Concert Theatre, TNT's, Paychecks, The New Dodge Lounge, The Painted Lady, Small's, The Elbow Room, Alvin's, The Majestic Theatre(Magic Stick), The Hayloft Liquor Stand, The I-Rock Night Club, Score's, The Trolley Stop, The Token Lounge, The Roseville Theatre, The Village Idiot, Bullfrog's, and many others. Lithium's 50th show was opening up the main stage at the Gathering of the Juggalos Festival in the summer of 2006 in Ohio. And they have won three "Battle of the Bands" competitions already. The band has received a little bit of air-play on 89x radio with one of their singles and commercial promotions. With a new notch made on their belts by the day, they seem completely unstoppable!

The band is a five piece "Nu-Metal/Rock" show. They use a two guitar driven sound that is tag teamed by Shank and Sopfe. While, the young prodigys Vadnais and Koppmann back up the sound with monsterous beats and rhythms. Vocally, Vino's range puts the finishing touchs on the melodies. The band writes all their own material in a joint effort; with the exceptions of the songs "Change" which was totally written by Vadnais and the same for Vino with "Transmission Overload".

Lithium is a great live band, check out some of the comments left by fans and other bands as testimony. And there's so much more to come! ...did you take your dose if Lithium today?
